My name is K. (No, it has nothing to do with the protagonists in Kafka and Murakami’s novels.)

The alphabet K comes from the Greek letter Kappa, which in turn was taken from the Semitic kap, a symbol representing an open hand. My given name starts with a K, and the alphabet’s origin is how I’d like to perceive the world.

I like minimalism in all respects of life, string instruments, urban sociology and architecture. While I don’t normally practice favouritism, I tend to be slightly bias towards the works of Georg Simmel, Le Corbusier and Tilda Swinton. I also try to write as often as I could, though not as well as I’d like to.
